Please notice that Abraham's name is mentioned 6 times, Moses 2 times, and Lazarus 4 times. If this is a parable, what is it teaching and why didn't Jesus provide the meaning as he did with other parables he gave? And I [Jesus] say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.
